FLIR THERMAL CORE


The GuardIR III 40-300VPT system allows night-time surveillance of large areas in total darkness due to the improved VOX* thermal detector (640x480 pixels) with improved sensitivity (NETD <0.03°C**) and advanced processing functions (DDE, ACE, SSO)
 
 
 

* Uncooled detector, requires no maintenance or replacement after a certain number of working hours
** A lower NETD value allows the operator to more easy detect a target with temperature that is close to the environment

Depending on the scene thermal contrast, the operator can select one of the available color palettes

(Example: Target at a distance of 450m)



CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT


Advanced image processing makes details visible to the operator in scenes with low thermal contrast or high temperature dynamics


DDE function (Digital Detail Enhancement)

DDE is an advanced non linear image processing algorithm that helps operator to find low thermal contrast targets in high dynamic range scenes.
DDE delivers crisp and properly contrasted thermal images.

ACE function provides a contrast adjustement dependent on the relative scene temperature.

HIGHLIGHTING THE HOTTEST TARGETS


Hottest targets can be highlighted in the thermal image by activating the ISO function
that allows to display them with a contrast colour

PRESET VALUES FOR POSITION AND ZOOM





The PRESET function allows you to store up to 64 sets of values ​​(position and zoom) between which the operator can quickly navigate at any time by simply accessing them.


DESIGNED TO WORK IN DIFFICULT ENVIRONMENTS


The GuardIR system is equipped with 3 independent heating circuits to control the temperature of the pan & tilt platform, the thermal lens and the window for the visible camera, thus ensuring the operation of the equipment in the most severe environmental conditions.
